About the race
PB&J Fuel Run in Kansas City is a community run at Gillham Park on October 31, 2026. The event offers several distance options and a smaller, capped wave format managed by coordinators. Waves fill on a first come, first serve basis and the event also offers a virtual option. Timing at the event is optional.
Participants may track time with an app and submit results for posting, or request coordinator assistance. Timing chips are not used. Race bibs are provided on race day.
Coordinators remain available for a period after the first wave. Swag for participants is shipped to the US mailing address provided at registration and includes a running T shirt, finisher towel or giveaway, finisher medal, and a digital training pack. Technical running shirts are available as an optional upgrade for an additional fee. Online results and a certificate of completion are provided.
For virtual entries the training pack is included and participants may submit results to receive a medal. The event notes that ongoing miles logged after the race contribute to a charity initiative where organizers donate one dollar per mile to partner charities.
