Halloween Trick or Trot Run - San Diego
The Halloween Trick or Trot Run is an annual Halloween-themed road run held at Mission Point in San Diego on October 31, 2026. The event offers several distance options and a virtual alternative. It is organized as a smaller, wave-based group run with caps per wave; waves are filled on a first-come, first-served basis and a wait list and virtual option are available.
Timing is optional for participants. Organizers do not use timing chips; runners may track their time with a personal app and submit results for posting, or request coordinator assistance for timekeeping. Race bibs are provided on race day.
Swag is shipped to the mailing address provided at registration for U.S. addresses. Swag items include a running T-shirt, a finisher's towel or giveaway, a finisher's medal, a digital training pack, and online results with a certificate of completion. A technical running shirt upgrade is available for an additional fee. Packet pickup is not required.
The event includes a Family 1 Mile option and a virtual run package that also provides digital training tools. The organizers list volunteer and sponsorship opportunities and note that post-race miles logged may support their charity initiatives; fundraising is optional.
