5k Fun Run x Duck Foot Brewing Co
This event is a 5k fun run hosted at Duck Foot Brewing in San Diego and is part of the 2026 California Brewery Running Series. The course starts and finishes at the brewery taproom and is described as a scenic, clearly marked route through the surrounding neighborhood.
The run is untimed and takes place on an open course where roads are not closed. Participants may run, walk, or jog the roughly 5 km distance. Registration includes one craft brew from Duck Foot Brewing at the finish and a choice of Brewery Running Series swag, such as a collector’s pint glass or a seasonal item. The post-run program includes music, games, prizes and partner giveaways. Ten percent of proceeds from the event support local nonprofits, with named partners including East LA Rising, Radiate Motivate and Alma Family Services.
Practical notes from the organizer state that ID is required for those 21 and older; participants under 21 are offered a nonalcoholic beverage instead. Dogs and strollers are allowed with care. The event proceeds rain or shine; if conditions are unsafe to run the group will still gather at the brewery. There is no bag check. Refunds are available up to seven days before the event.
