Event Details
The Oktoberfest Run takes place at Mission Point in San Diego, California. The event offers participants multiple distance options: a 5K, 10K, and Half-Marathon (13.1 miles). There is also a Family 1 Mile Fun Run and a Virtual Run option.
The event is structured in multiple waves, labeled Wave A, Wave B, and Wave C. It is described as a smaller, private group run with a cap per wave. All paces and ages are welcome, with participants under 18 requiring a guardian. No timing chips are used, but participants can optionally track their own time using a running app.
A participant's swag bag includes a running T-shirt (shipped within the US), a finisher's towel or giveaway, a finisher's medal, and a digital training pack. Race bibs are provided on the event day. Packet pickup is not required as items are shipped directly to the participant's address.
