A Merry Christmas Run takes place on December 26, 2026 at Olmos Basin Park on Devine Road in San Antonio, Texas. The event offers both in-person and virtual participation.

The event is organized as a smaller, private group run with a cap per wave and first-come, first-serve wave registration. Participants of all paces may run or walk; minors must be accompanied by a guardian. Timing is optional: participants may track time with personal apps and submit results, and the event does not use timing chips. Coordinators are available to support participants during the run.
Swag and race items are shipped to the registrant address in the United States. Provided items include a running T-shirt, a finisher's towel or giveaway, a finisher's medal, a digital training pack, and online results with a certificate of completion. Technical running shirts are available as an optional upgrade for an additional fee. Race bibs are provided on race day and packet pickup is not required.
A virtual-run training pack is available and virtual finishers can receive a medal after submitting results. Fundraising is optional and the organizers note a charity initiative where additional miles logged after the race support partner charities.
