Texas Tough Turkey Chase 5k/10k and Kids Run
The Texas Tough Turkey Chase is an annual running event held on Thanksgiving Day in San Antonio, Texas. The races are held within the Dominion neighborhood, with the start and finish lines located near 8 Dominion Drive. The event offers several distances to accommodate different types of participants:

The 5k and 10k events are chip-timed by IAAP. Participants who pre-register at least five days before the event are eligible to receive a race shirt in their selected size. The organizer plans to provide medals for the first 500 registered participants, featuring a spinner design for this edition.
Award recipients in the age group categories receive a full pie for their Thanksgiving meal. On-site amenities include portable restrooms, a DJ, and an announcer at the finish line. While a full meal is not provided to avoid spoiling holiday appetites, snacks such as fruits, coffee, and small treats for children are available at the event site.
