San Antonio Food Bank Turkey Trot 5K
The Turkey Trot is the San Antonio Food Bank’s annual 5K run and walk held on November 26, 2026 at the Commander’s House at H‑E‑B Arsenal, 622 S. Flores St., San Antonio, TX. This event is the 17th annual edition and follows a scenic downtown route that passes Riverwalk views, historic La Villita, and the Tower of the Americas.
Registrations support the San Antonio Food Bank and each registration provides a turkey for a family in need during the holiday season. Children ages 4 to 11 have a reduced registration fee and children ages 3 and under may participate for free with no shirt included. Packet pick up is available in the week before the event at multiple locations, including TriPoint, Concordia Lutheran Church, and the San Antonio Food Bank.
On course support includes two water stations and post finish refreshments and electrolyte drinks provided by event partners. Coffee is provided before the event by a sponsor. Pets and strollers are allowed when secured and used with consideration for other participants. The event is planned to proceed in typical weather conditions; organizers will cancel only for severe weather and registration fees will not be refunded in that case.
Volunteer opportunities and virtual fundraising options are offered to support the event and the food bank’s work in the community. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
