Halloween Trick or Trot Run : Sacramento
The event is an annual Halloween-themed run held at Sutter's Landing Regional Park in Sacramento, California. Multiple race formats are offered and include in-person and virtual options. The organizer runs a capped, wave-based format for in-person participants; waves are first-come, first-served and close when full. When waves sell out, a virtual entry or a wait list is available.
Participants can choose from these distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half-Marathon (13.1)
- Virtual Run
- Family 1 Mile
Timing is optional. Runners may track time with a personal app and submit results for posting, or ask coordinators to help record times. The event does not use timing chips. Race bibs are provided on race day. Swag is shipped to U.S. mailing addresses; shirts are scheduled to be mailed the week of the race. The standard swag includes a running T-shirt, a finisher's towel or giveaway, a finisher's medal, a digital training pack, and an online certificate of completion. An upgraded technical running shirt is available for an additional fee.
The organizer offers online results, an invitation to local running clubs, a training pack for virtual participants, and a charity initiative that donates $1 for each mile logged after the race.
