About the Event
The Dia De Los Miles is a multigenerational celebration of Latino and Hispanic heritage. The 2026 event will be the fifth annual edition. It takes place on October 25 in Elk Grove, California.
The event includes three main activities:
- A 5K run/walk.
- Kids' fun runs (listed as 1/4M and 1/2M distances).
- A Hispanic & Latino art and craft mercado (market).
The mercado showcases the work of local artists and artisans. Items for sale include textiles, jewelry, and leather goods.
The event is described as family-friendly. Strollers and friendly dogs are welcome. Every 5K participant receives a shirt and a medal, and children in the kids' runs also receive a medal.
