Día De Los Muertos 5k Race
The Día De Los Muertos 5k Race is a fundraising 5k run and walk on October 31, 2026 at North Natomas Regional Park in Sacramento, CA. The course is a flat loop run entirely on the park sidewalk and uses a fully paved path. The event distance is 5k (3.1 miles). Strollers are permitted and all ages and running or walking abilities are welcome to participate. Participants may wear costumes.
Registration includes a t-shirt, medal, and sticker for each participant. Ribbons are awarded to the top three finishers in each age group and to the top three overall in male and female categories.
Packet pickup is held the day before at Sacramento Running Company and the morning of the event at North Natomas Regional Park. The event is sanctioned by USA Track and Field; only service dogs are allowed under the sanctioning rules.
Proceeds support the Azteca FC Cross Country and Track and Field program, a registered 501C3 organization. The fundraiser assists athletes who qualify to attend and compete at national championships. The event has support from local districts and community sponsors, which helped send Azteca FC athletes to national competitions this year.
