Día De Los Muertos 5k Race
The Día De Los Muertos 5k Race takes place from October 31 - November 2, 2026, at North Natomas Regional Park in Sacramento (2501 New Market Dr.). The event offers both an in-person and a virtual 5k option and is organized as a fundraiser for the Azteca FC youth cross country and track program.
Events include:
- 5k Run or Walk
- 5k Virtual run
The in-person course uses the park sidewalk as a loop around the park. The surface is fully paved and the course is described as flat. Strollers are allowed and participants may wear costumes. The race is sanctioned by USA Track and Field; as a result, only service dogs are permitted on the course.
All registered participants receive a T-shirt. Awards include ribbons for the top three finishers in each age group and ribbons for the top three overall in male and female categories. Packet pickup is held at North Natomas Regional Park. Vendors associated with the event include a local food vendor listed by organizers.
