Night Nation Run Sacramento
Night Nation Run Sacramento is scheduled for Oct 24, 2026 at Cal Expo in Sacramento, California. The event is described as the World’s first Running Music Festival and combines a fun run with live music and festival elements. The course features live DJs, light shows, bubble zones, neon and black lights, dancers, selfie stations, and glow gear giveaways.
Registration includes a race packet, a glow necklace, free giveaways, admission to pre and post race concerts and admission to the official main stage after party. The event notes multiple party zones along the course and encourages participants to dance and enjoy the experience rather than pursue a 5K personal record.
After crossing the finish line, a main stage after party features multiple DJs, lights, fog, cryo effects, confetti and giveaways leading up to a surprise headliner DJ. Packet pickup is scheduled the day before at Cal Expo; attendees are asked to bring their confirmation email with barcode to expedite pickup. If collecting packets for others, a copy of the recipient’s ID and a signed waiver are required and the waiver can be downloaded in advance.
The Night Nation Run supports Stand Up To Cancer as its official charity; registration options include a $1 donation for a customizable race bib, purchase of a custom charity T shirt, or signing up to fundraise.
