Cookie Run 5K/10K/13.1 Sacramento takes place at Sutter's Landing Regional Park in Sacramento on October 10, 2026. The event is organized as a smaller, wave-based field with a capped number of spots per wave; when a wave fills, runners may choose the virtual option or join a waitlist.
The event offers multiple distance options and a family mile fun run:

Timing is optional; there are no timing chips. Participants may track their results using apps and submit them to be posted in the online results and receive a certificate of completion. Race bibs are handed out on race day; shirts and other swag are shipped to U.S. mailing addresses. The running shirt is scheduled to arrive the week of the race, and a virtual training pack is emailed about one month before the event. Final participant information and course maps are sent by the Wednesday before race day. Coordinators remain on site for several hours after the first wave.
