Event Overview
The Oktoberfest Run in Central Park is a community-oriented running event that incorporates a Bavarian theme. This event is organized as a private group run with a limited number of participants per wave to maintain a small-scale setting. The race is open to all ages and paces, and participants have the option to either run or walk the courses.
Participants can choose from several distances:

- 5 km
- 10 km
- 13.1 miles (Half-Marathon)
Logistics and Timing
The event does not use timing chips, prioritizing a stress-free environment. Timing is considered optional; participants may track their own progress using personal apps or request assistance from on-site coordinators to record their finish times for the online results page.
There is no formal packet pickup on the day of the race or at a specific location. Instead, registration swag, including a running t-shirt, is shipped directly to the participant's provided address. Race bibs are distributed by coordinators at the event location on the day of the run.
Virtual Participation
A virtual run option is available for those unable to attend in person. This allows participants to complete their chosen distance at any time or location using their own tracking devices.
