Run the Bronx
Run the Bronx is the 48th annual Roscoe C. Brown, Jr. event held on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Bronx Community College, 2155 University Ave, Bronx, NY 10453. The event program includes the following race options:
- 5K
- 10K
- 2-Mile Walk
- Virtual Run the Bronx
- Pee Wee Pavilion (for children 5 and under)
All participants receive a finisher medal and a T-shirt. The 5K and 10K award trophies to the top three male and female overall finishers and to the top three finishers in each age category. Age categories are 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and up.
Logistics and registration
Packet pick-up occurs during the week before the event. Early registration is priced at $30 and ends on Saturday, April 25, 2026; late registration is $50 after that date. Virtual registration closes on May 1, 2026; Pee Wee registration closes on April 30, 2026. CUNY students with valid ID and students in grades 1-12 may register for free before April 25, 2026, with a pre-entry form required by that date. Registration fees are non-refundable. Free parking and baggage check-in are available on the Bronx Community College campus. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
