Run the Bronx
Run the Bronx is the 48th Annual Roscoe C. Brown Jr event held on May 2, 2026 at Bronx Community College, 2155 University Ave, Bronx, NY 10453. The event takes place rain or shine and offers on campus parking and baggage check in.
The event program includes the following distances and activities
- 5K race
- 10K race
- 2 Mile Walk
- Virtual Run the Bronx
- Pee Wee Pavilion for children 5 and under
Packet pick up occurs the week before the event and race day registration is available. All participants receive a finisher medal and a T shirt. The 5K and 10K include trophies for first, second and third place overall for male and female; trophies are also awarded for first, second and third place in age categories for male and female. Age categories are 14 and under, 15 to 19 years, 20 to 29 years, 30 to 39 years, 40 to 49 years, 50 to 59 years, 60 to 69 years, and 70 and up.
Fee structure notes early registration is thirty dollars until April 25, 2026 and late registration is fifty dollars after that date. CUNY students with valid ID and students in grades 1 to 12 are free if pre entry and payment are received by April 25, 2026. Registration fees are non refundable.
