Event Details
The MSDA Meghan Doyle '05K is the 12th annual running of this event. It is held at Mount St. Dominic Academy in Caldwell, New Jersey. The event benefits the Tuition Assistance Program at the academy and is held in memory of Meghan C. Doyle, a 2005 graduate.
Event Format
The event offers three participation formats:
- MSDA Meghan Doyle '05K Run/Walk: A 5K (3.1 miles) race.
- MSDA Meghan Doyle '05K Fun Run: A short 0.5K race for participants aged 10 and under. There is no registration fee for this event.
- Virtual MSDA Meghan Doyle '05K: A virtual option where participants complete the distance on their own course between the specified dates.
Registration for all events opens on February 13, 2026. The in-person events take place on Saturday, May 2, 2026. The fun run starts before the main 5K. The virtual event runs from May 2 to May 10, 2026.
Awards
The in-person 5K features a cash award for the top female and male runners. Awards are also given to the top three runners in each age group.
Virtual Participation
Virtual participants are assigned a bib number they can print and wear. They can complete their 5K run, jog, or walk on any route they choose, including on a treadmill. Participants are encouraged to plan their course in advance to verify the distance and track their time. Instructions for submitting results will be provided.
