Event Information
The Oktoberfest Run takes place at Mill Creek Park on Broadway Boulevard in Kansas City, Missouri. The event is scheduled for Saturday, September 26, 2026.
Distances
Participants can choose from several race distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half-Marathon 13.1
- 1 Mile Fun Run
A Virtual Run option is also available, which can be completed at any time and place using any optional tracking device.
Race Details
The event is described as a smaller, private group run with a participant cap per wave. All paces and ages are welcome to run or walk, with participants under 18 requiring a guardian. Timing is optional; participants may track their own time using apps and submit results online. No timing chips are used.
Race bibs are provided on the day of the event. Swag, including a race t-shirt, is shipped directly to a participant's US mailing address. Participants also receive a finisher's medal, a finisher's towel or giveaway, a digital training pack, online results, and a certificate of completion. An invitation to join a local run club is included.
Wave start times are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Late runners can join upon arrival, as coordinators stay for three hours after the first wave. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
