Gourdy's Pumpkin Run: Kansas City
Gourdy’s Pumpkin Run is a seasonal running event held in Kansas City, Missouri. This event centers on a 5K (3.1 miles) course that is open to participants of all ages and abilities. Both runners and walkers are permitted to participate in the race. Established in 2012, the event has become an annual autumn activity for many participants.
The event features a timed course where participants receive a commemorative race bib including a timing chip to track their performance. All participants who complete the 5K distance receive a finisher's medal and a lightweight tech hoodie designed for autumn weather conditions.
Post-race amenities are provided to all finishers at the conclusion of the event. Participants receive a cup of apple cider and a small pumpkin to take home. The event is held at 1800 Genessee Street in Kansas City.
