Event Overview
The PB&J Fuel Run is a private group running event taking place at Piney Creek Hollow Park in Centennial. This event is organized as a smaller, community-focused run with a limited number of participants per wave. Participants of all ages and all paces are welcome to participate by running or walking. Results are not tracked through timing chips; instead, timing is optional. Participants may track their own progress using personal apps or request assistance from on-site coordinators.
The event offers several distance options to accommodate different goals:
- 1 Mile Family Fun Run
- 5 km
- 10 km
- 13.1 miles (Half-Marathon)
Registration and Logistics
Participants receive a swag bag that includes a running T-shirt, a finisher's medal, a finisher's towel or comparable giveaway, and a digital training pack. Shirts are shipped directly to the address provided during registration, typically arriving the week of the race. Race bibs are distributed on the morning of the event.
The run is organized into waves to manage the number of people on the course. While the on-site coordinators remain present for three hours after the first wave begins, late arrivals are permitted to start upon arrival. A virtual run option is also available for those who prefer to complete their distance at a location and time of their choosing.
Location and Course
The run is held at Piney Creek Hollow Park, located at 6140 South Tower Road. This setting provides a support-oriented environment without the use of heavy equipment or complex setups. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
