Totally Rad 80s 5k at New Image Brewing Company in Wheat Ridge
The event is a themed 5k fun run on September 12, 2026 that starts and ends at New Image Brewing Company in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. The course is untimed and open to walkers, joggers, and runners. Roads on the route will remain open and participants must follow all traffic laws. The route will be marked with arrows and guided by volunteers.
All participants receive a free local craft beer or a non alcoholic beverage at the finish line and a choice between a retro 80s fanny pack or a hat. The event includes costume contests for best solo and group 80s outfits, door prizes from the organizer and sponsors, and on site festivities such as live music, the New Image pizza truck, and local vendors. Colorado Brewery Running Series merchandise will be available at the event.
Additional details state the event is rain or shine, there will not be a bag check, and dogs and strollers are allowed on the course with care and caution. A valid ID is required to receive alcoholic beverages; underage participants receive a token for a non alcoholic beverage. Public parking is available and registration is limited by taproom capacity.
