Totally Rad 80s 5k : New Image Brewing Company, Wheat Ridge
The Totally Rad 5k is an untimed, themed run presented by the Colorado Brewery Running Series at New Image Brewing Company in Wheat Ridge on September 12, 2026. The route starts and ends at the brewery and is an open course on city sidewalks and streets; participants are required to obey traffic laws. The course will be marked with arrows and supported by volunteers.
All finishers receive a free local craft brew or nonalcoholic beverage and a choice of a retro 1980s fanny pack or hat. The event program includes costume contests for best solo and group 80s outfits, door prizes from the series and sponsors, live music, the New Image pizza truck, local vendors, and brewery merchandise for sale.
Additional event notes: the event is rain or shine; there will not be bag check; dogs and strollers are allowed with care and at the participant's risk; valid photo ID is required to receive alcohol and underage participants receive a token for a nonalcoholic beverage. Registration is limited to the size of the taproom and events may sell out. Public parking is available and public transit might be an option. Refunds are available up to seven days before the event.
