Totally Rad 80s 5k at New Image Brewing Company, Wheat Ridge
The Colorado Brewery Running Series presents the 5k event on September 12, 2026, with a start and finish at New Image Brewing Company in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. The event is an untimed fun run that welcomes walkers, joggers, and runners on an open course that uses city sidewalks, streets, and local trails. The course will be marked with arrows and supported by volunteers, while roads will remain open and participants are expected to obey traffic laws.
All finishers receive a free local craft brew or a nonalcoholic beverage, and a choice of retro 80s swag such as a fanny pack or hat. The event features costume contests for solo and group entries, door prizes from the organizer and partners, live music, a pizza truck, local vendors, and on-site merchandise including shirts, hoodies, and drinkware. Events proceed rain or shine; bag check is not provided.
Participants must bring a valid ID to receive alcoholic beverages and must be 21 or older to claim alcohol. Registered underage participants will receive a token for a nonalcoholic beverage. Dogs and strollers are allowed on course with care and caution. Public parking is available and public transit may be an option. Registration is limited to the size of the taproom.
