6 Dot Dash CO Presented by Waymo is an annual event organized by the National Federation of the Blind of Colorado. The event raises awareness and funds for the National Federation of the Blind of Colorado and the Colorado Center for the Blind.
The event supports Braille literacy and blindness skills training, scholarships for blind students, summer camps for blind children, and additional programs and services. Participation is available in person or virtually on Saturday, September 12, 2026. The start and finish and packet pickup are located at the Colorado Center for the Blind, 2233 West Shepperd Ave, Littleton, CO 80120.
Distances offered include:
- 5k Run/Walk with T-shirt and finisher's medal
- Kids 1-mile Fun Run
- Kids Fun Run
Race day features include a race day expo, carnival games, a blind beer tasting, welcoming remarks, and awards for the 5k. Packet pickup will take place at the Colorado Center for the Blind on Friday, September 11, 2026 and on race day, Saturday, September 12, 2026.
