THE Denver 5k at Sloan Lake
The Denver 5k takes place at the south side of Sloan Lake Park, located at the intersection of Utica Street and West 17th Avenue. Participants run a course around the lake with views of the Denver skyline. The event is held in early September and serves as a late-season race for the running community.

- 50 yards Kids Fun Run
The Kids Fun Run is a free event specifically for children aged 7 and under. Participants in this shorter distance run approximately 100 yards to finish under a large inflatable arch.
Awards are presented in several categories. Overall awards are determined by gun time, while age group awards and general rankings are calculated using chip timing.
