National Chocolate Day: Run for Chocolates : Denver/Aurora
National Chocolate Day: Run for Chocolates is scheduled for September 12, 2026 at Piney Creek Hollow Park, 6140 South Tower Road, Centennial, CO 80016. The event includes multiple distance options and a virtual alternative.

The event uses a wave system with a participant cap per wave; waves fill on a first come, first served basis. Participants may run or walk, and minors must be accompanied by a guardian. Timing is optional: participants can track time with apps and submit results, and the event does not use timing chips. Race bibs are provided on race day.
Swag is shipped directly to the registrant’s US mailing address. Typical included items are a running T-shirt, a finisher’s towel or giveaway, a finisher’s medal, a digital training pack, and an online certificate of completion. A technical running shirt is available as an optional upgrade for an additional fee. Packet pickup is not required.
A virtual run option provides the same digital training pack and allows participants to submit results to receive a medal. Coordinators provide on-site support and oversee the smaller, private group waves. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
