RiNo 5K + Larimer Mile : Denver RiNo Art District
The RiNo 5K + Laramer Mile is a community road event held in Denver's River North (RiNo) Art District and Historic Curtis Park on September 12, 2026. The 5K uses a USATF certified course and runs entirely on closed roads. The Larimer Mile is a one mile road race on Larimer Street conducted in multiple waves, including competitive heats and an open social division.
Registration and race options include:
- 5K run/walk on a USATF certified course through RiNo and Historic Curtis Park.
- Larimer Mile one mile road race on Larimer Street, multiple waves including competitive heats.
- Combo option to enter both races at a discounted price.
- Social bib self timed non competitive entry; includes drink ticket and event shirt.
Included with registration are one beer ticket, professional timing and scoring, shareable online results for Bolder Boulder registration, and a 20% discount at Topo Designs Flagship Store in RiNo. An optional event shirt is offered with a $5 discount if declined. Packet pickup is available the Friday before the race at Odell Brewing Co. Five Points Brewhouse (2945 Larimer St) and on race day near 27th and Larimer.
Other event details: free parking is provided in the Coors Field structure at 27th and Blake, dogs and strollers are allowed outside competitive mile waves and not in the front of the 5K, participants are asked to bring reusable water bottles as single use plastic bottles are not provided, there are no refunds, and deferrals or transfers require advance requests by 9/5/2026. There is no bag check and no finisher medals.
Awards for the 5K include top overall and masters by gun time and age group awards by chip time across listed age brackets. The event also includes a Champions Cup team competition using cross country style scoring based on top finishers by gender. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
