RiNo 5K + Larimer Mile
The RiNo 5K + Larimer Mile is a community road racing event in Denver's River North Art District and Historic Curtis Park on September 12, 2026. The event offers a USATF certified 5K course and a one mile race on Larimer Street, both run entirely on closed roads rather than on bike paths or sidewalks.
Distances:
- 5K through RiNo and Historic Curtis Park
- 1 Mile Larimer Mile on Larimer Street
Registration options include separate entries for the 5K and the Larimer Mile, a discounted combo for both races, and a social bib option that is self-timed and excluded from online results and race photos. Registration benefits list a drink ticket, professional timing and scoring, shareable online results useful for Bolder Boulder registration, a 20% discount at Topo Designs Flagship Store in RiNo, and an optional event shirt with a fee reduction if declined. Packet pick up is available the day before at Odell Brewing Co. Five Points Brewhouse (2945 Larimer St, Denver) and on race day near 27th and Larimer.
Race operations note that dogs and strollers are allowed except in competitive waves of the Larimer Mile and not in the front of the RiNo 5K. Participants are asked to bring their own water bottle; water and paper cups will be available but single use plastic bottles will not. The event is presented by a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit, runs rain or shine, and has no refunds; deferrals are available upon request. Age group awards and team scoring are used for results and prizes.
