This is a smaller, wave-based group run with a cap per wave. The event is open to all paces and to participants under 18 when accompanied by a guardian. Organizers describe the format as a run-or-walk event with coordinators on site to support participants in a low-stress setting.
Timing is optional and no timing chips are used. Participants may track time with personal apps and submit results for online posting; coordinators can also assist with time tracking. Race bibs are provided on race day and there is no packet pickup because swag is shipped to the registrant's US mailing address. Shirts are shipped the week of the race; technical shirts are available as a paid upgrade. Swag items include a running T-shirt, a finisher towel or giveaway, a finisher medal, a digital training pack, online results, and a certificate of completion. A virtual run option includes a digital training pack and medal distribution after results are submitted.
