Event overview
The Bay Aquathlon Series - Race 2 is an open water aquathlon held at Swansea Bay on 16 July 2026. The event is organised by Aspire X Events and is one of three races in the 2026 series, with other dates on 16 June and 27 August. A series booking option is available that covers the three corresponding races for each distance. Entry is open to entrants aged 15 and over on 31/12/2026. An event pack is noted as coming soon.
Distances
- Sprint: 750m swim + 5k run; suited to more experienced athletes.
- Mini Sprint: 400m swim + 5k run; for less confident swimmers.
- Super Sprint: 400m swim + 3k run; aimed at beginners or first-time open water swimmers.
Entry fees vary by distance and by relay option. Relay entries are offered for each distance.
Location and access
The race starts on the beach adjacent to Secret's Bar & Kitchen at Swansea Bay. The Recreation Ground Car Park is a short walk from the start, with additional parking in the surrounding area. Parking charges may apply. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
