Event overview
The Bay Aquathlon Series - Race 2 takes place on 16 July 2026 at Swansea Bay. It is an open water aquathlon that is one of three races in the 2026 series; there is an option to enter the full series across the three dates. The event includes registration, transition area, a mandatory race briefing, an acclimatisation period, and an award ceremony.
Distances and location
- Sprint distance: 750m open water swim and a 5k run.
- Mini Sprint distance: 400m open water swim and a 5k run.
- Super Sprint distance: 400m open water swim and a 3k run.
The race starts on the beach adjacent to Secret's Bar & Kitchen. The Recreation Ground Car Park is a short walk from the start; additional parking is available in the surrounding area and charges may apply.
