The Bay Aquathlon Series - Race 2
The Bay Aquathlon Series is an open water multi-sport series held at Swansea Bay. The 2026 series comprises three event dates: Race 1 on 16 June, Race 2 on 16 July, and Race 3 on 27 August. Race 2 is the second event in the 2026 sequence and takes place on the beach at Swansea Bay, adjacent to Secret's Bar & Kitchen. The Recreation Ground Car Park is a short walk from the start and there is additional parking nearby; charges may apply.
Each individual race offers three distance options:
- Sprint distance: 750m open water swim and a 5k run.
- Super Sprint Plus distance: 400m open water swim and a 5k run.
- Super Sprint distance: 400m open water swim and a 3k run.
Relay entries are available for some distances. This race has been selected as a Tîm Tri Cymru 2027 qualifier. The opportunity to qualify is open to Triathlon Cymru members with core or above membership, and the first place athlete in each five year age group will earn a team place.
