The Bay Aquathlon Series - Race 2
The Bay Aquathlon Series is an open water aquathlon held at Swansea Bay. The 2026 series includes three separate race dates: Race 1 on 16 June, Race 2 on 16 July, and Race 3 on 27 August. Competitors can enter individual races or the full series.
Each race offers three distance options:
- Sprint distance: 750m open water swim and a 5k run.
- Super Sprint Plus: 400m open water swim and a 5k run.
- Super Sprint: 400m open water swim and a 3k run.
This Race has been selected as a Tîm Tri Cymru 2027 qualifier. Qualification is available to Triathlon Cymru members with core or above membership. The first place finisher in each five year age group earns a place on the team; no prior intent to qualify registration is required.
The event takes place on the beach at Swansea Bay, with the start adjacent to Secret's Bar & Kitchen. Individual race entry prices for this event are listed between £29.95 and £44.95.
