The Bay 5K Series offers three summer races at Swansea Bay. Each event features both a 5 km and a shorter 3 km option. You can enter individual races or sign up for the full series.

Event Overview

This event is Race 2 of The Bay 5K Series in 2026. It is part of the larger Bay Aquathlon. The full series consists of three separate races.

Race Distances

Each individual race offers two distance options:

5 km - open to entrants aged 11 and over.
3 km - open to entrants aged 9 and over.

Series Details

The three races in the series are:

Race 1 on Tuesday, 16 June.
Race 2 on Thursday, 16 July.
Race 3 on Thursday, 27 August.

Participants can enter the full series for a combined price. The series price for the three 5 km races ranges from £34.00 to £39.00. The series price for the three 3 km races ranges from £19.00 to £24.00.

Practical Information

The event takes place at Swansea Bay. The race starts on the beach next to Secret's Bar & Kitchen. Parking is available at the nearby Recreation Ground Car Park and in the surrounding area, where charges may apply.
