The Bay 5K Series - Race 2
The Bay 5K Series consists of three distinct running events held at Swansea Bay during the summer months. This specific event represents the second race in the series and is integrated with the Bay Aquathlon program. Participants can choose to enter this single race or register for the full three-part series.
The event features two different running distances to accommodate different experience levels:
- 5k: A distance available for participants aged 11 and over by the end of the year.
- 3k: A shorter distance available for participants aged 9 and over.
The race starts directly on the beach, located adjacent to Secret's Bar and Kitchen. For those arriving by vehicle, the Recreation Ground Car Park is situated within walking distance of the starting line, and additional parking options are available in the surrounding area where charges may apply.
Registration for the event occurs on-site prior to the race. Before the run begins, all participants must attend a mandatory race briefing to review event details.
