Ammanford 10k 2026
The Ammanford 10 km road race on 12 July 2026 follows an undulating open-road route around Ammanford and the surrounding area, with start and finish at Ammanford Rugby Club. Route marshals will give directions and attendees must follow marshal instructions. To comply with UKA rules for open-road racing, standard headphones are not permitted; bone conducting headphones are allowed.
Race headquarters are at Ammanford Rugby Club. Race numbers are issued from inside the club (downstairs) between 8:30am and 9:30am; if weather permits number collection may take place outside. Race capacity is 300 and on-the-day entry is available on a first come first serve basis while places remain. All online entrants receive a bespoke medal; a small number of medals remain for on-the-day entrants on a first come first serve basis.
A water station is provided at the 5 km point. Additional water will be supplied in hot conditions and bottles are available at the finish. Toilets, showers and changing facilities are available in the building adjacent to the Rugby Club from 8:30am to 1:30pm, with a limited number of toilets inside the club. Car parking is provided in several locations; drivers approaching from the M4 are asked to use the carpark off Pen Y Banc road to the south of the Rugby Club and not to park on roads that may affect the route.
Refreshments and hot food are available at the Rugby Club and at a nearby gazebo. Prize giving takes place after the last runner has finished. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
