The Ammanford 10k is an open-road running event takes place in Ammanford and the surrounding areas. The route features an undulating profile that begins and ends at the Ammanford Rugby Club. The event has a total participant capacity of 300 runners.

Race headquarters are located at the Ammanford Rugby Club, where participants collect their race numbers. Facilities at the site include toilets, showers, and changing rooms situated in the building adjacent to the club. For those driving to the event, several designated parking areas are available, including a specific lot off Pen Y Banc road for those arriving from the M4.
The course includes a water station at the 5km mark, with the potential for an additional station in high temperatures. Bottled water is also provided at the finish line. Because the race is held on open roads, standard headphones are prohibited to comply with UKA rules, though bone-conducting headphones are permitted. Participants who enter online receive a bespoke medal, while a limited number of remaining medals are allocated to on-the-day entrants.
Refreshments are available at the Rugby Club both before and after the race, including drinks and a food stall serving burgers and rolls.
