IRONMAN 70.3 Swansea takes place along the southern coast of Wales, providing a course that explores the coastline, city, and countryside. The event is a recipient of the IRONMAN Athletes' Choice Award, notably recognized for having one of the top three best run courses in the EMEA region.
The competition consists of three distinct segments:
- Swim: A sea swim starting at the Prince of Wales Dock.

- Run: A flat course that passes through the Swansea waterfront and city areas.
