About the race
Gower Peninsula Ultra Challenge takes place on the Gower Peninsula in South Wales, Britain’s first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Distances include 100km, 50km, a marathon (42km), 25km and 10km. The route is a figure‑of‑eight, with western and eastern loops that reveal the peninsula’s beaches, limestone cliffs, moorland, ridges and woodlands, plus its history.
Basecamp sits at Penrice Castle Basecamp, with camping, transfers and parking. The event features signed routes, GPS tracking, marquee rest stops with meals and drinks, medical and massage teams, and a finish-line celebration.
