Event overview
Battle of the Run Clubs is a team cross-country challenge held at Stable View in Aiken, South Carolina (149 Stable Dr, Aiken, SC 29801). The event takes place on Saturday, January 24, 2026. Three race distances are offered:
- 10 Mile
- 10K
- 5K
Runners register individually and may indicate a team or club name during registration. Individuals may enter as "Free Agent" and can be combined into mixed teams.
Competition format and amenities
Each distance is scored equally by finishing place, with 1st place = 1 point, 2nd place = 2 points, and so on. Team scores are the sum of the top four placings from each team; the lowest total wins. Additional runners do not add to a team score but can affect other teams' placings. Teams may be any gender composition and may include entrants from the same or different distances.
The event includes on-site packet pickup and post-race activities. Food is provided by Stable View's Graze and Gaze. Showers are available on site and adult beverages are available for purchase at the Tavern. Stable View offers on-site lodging and RV hookups; RV reservations must be made directly with Stable View. Winning teams receive engraving on a perpetual trophy displayed at Stable View, and individual trophies are awarded. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
