Event overview
The Battle of the Run Clubs is a team cross-country challenge held at Stable View near Aiken, South Carolina on January 24, 2026. The event offers three distances:
- 10 Mile
- 10k
- 5k
Entries are accepted for clubs, groups, and individuals. Individuals may register as "Free Agent" and can be combined into mixed teams.
Format and services
Races are divided by gender for each distance, creating six race categories: men's and women's fields for the 10 mile, 10k, and 5k. Each race is scored equally by placing points (1 point for 1st, 2 points for 2nd, and so on). Team scores use the top four placings from each team, with the lowest total score determining the winning team. Additional team members do not add to the team score but can affect other teams' placings.
Amenities on site include food provided by Stable View's Graze and Gaze, lawn games, showers, and adult beverages available at cost in the Tavern. Stable View also offers on-site lodging options and RV hookups, with further accommodation details available through booking platforms or direct reservation with Stable View.
