Event Information
The DashinNotTrashin event is a running race supporting the Augusta Canal Authority. It takes place in Augusta, Georgia, on Saturday, April 4, 2026, starting at the Mill Village Trailhead (109 Eve St.).
Distances
Participants can register for a 5K or a 10K distance. The 10K course consists of two loops of the 5K route.
Registration & Logistics
Registration is available for $20.00. The event will not provide new race shirts. Instead, participants are encouraged to bring a clean, gently used race shirt to trade with others during packet pickup. A wood finisher medal is included with the registration fee. Medals will be ordered on March 1, 2026; registrations after this date do not guarantee a medal.
Packet pickup occurs on race morning from 7:00 AM to 7:55 AM at the race location. An early packet pickup option may be offered, depending on registration numbers.
Aid Stations & Sustainability
The event will have water available at aid stations and the finish line for participants to refill their own hydration containers. The organizers will not provide disposable cups or plastic bottles.

Complete results will be posted online by 3:00 PM on race day. The organizers note there is a no-refund policy and that a 30-minute weather delay may be implemented if necessary. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
