Aiken Trailblazer Half Marathon - Stable View
The Aiken Trailblazer at Stable View offers four trail events at Stable View equestrian facility in Aiken, SC, located at 117 Stable Drive. The race takes place on natural trails through longleaf pines across the facility’s large wooded property and rolling hills. The event format includes the following distances:
- Half Marathon
- 15K
- 5K
- Kids Fun Run
Participants receive a finisher's medal and a t-shirt. Post race food is provided by The Bistro @ Stable View and hot showers are available. Stable View also provides professionally designed lodging and RV hook ups for those who wish to stay on site; downtown Aiken is nearby for additional dining, sightseeing and shopping.
On-course services are specified: water stations for the 15K and Half Marathon are located at about miles 2, 5.5, 7.5 and 9.75; Nuun electrolyte stations are at about miles 5.5, 7.5 and 9.75; Gu Chews are at about miles 7.5 and 9.75. A water station for the 5K is located at about mile 1.5. Overall awards are given to the top three female and male finishers in the Half Marathon, 15K and 5K, with first male and female masters recognized.
Additional race activities include packet pick up and a Friday evening yoga session. The event supports Stable View’s conservation goals, including work to restore habitat for the Red-cockaded woodpecker. The event is held rain or shine and has a no refunds policy.
