Heroes for Hope 5K Run/Walk - April 18, 2026
The Heroes for Hope 5K Run/Walk takes place on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Mill Village Trailhead on the Augusta Canal. The event is organized by Child Enrichment and includes multiple event options:
- 5K Run
- 5K Walk
- Kids Fun Run (ages 10 and under)
- Couch Crusader - 0.0 Mile Run
- 5K Wheelchair Division
Entry fees and registration details vary by event. The Kids Fun Run has free entry. Some event fees increase after specified dates earlier in the year. Packet pickup is available the day before the race at Child Enrichment and on race day at Mill Village Trailhead.
Awards, participants and beneficiary
Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers and to top male and female finishers in the listed age groups: 15 & under, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70 and above. All Kids Fun Run participants receive a medal. Additional prizes are planned for best costumes for kid, adult and pet participants.
Proceeds support Child Enrichment, which provides free therapy and advocacy for children affected by abuse, neglect, or trafficking in the CSRA.
