Heroes for Hope 5K Run/Walk
The Heroes for Hope 5K Run/Walk takes place on April 18, 2026, at Mill Village Trailhead on the Augusta Canal. The event is organized by Child Enrichment and includes multiple ways to participate.

Packet pick-up is available the day before at Child Enrichment and on race day at Mill Village Trailhead. The 5K includes awards for the top three overall male and female finishers and age group awards that recognize top male and female finishers across brackets from 15 & under through 70 and above. All Kids Fun Run participants receive a medal. Additional prizes are awarded for best costumes in kid, adult and pet categories.
Proceeds support free therapy and advocacy for children who have experienced abuse, neglect, or trafficking in the CSRA. The organizing charity reports it has served over 31,000 children since 1978, including 1,637 children in 2024–2025. The venue is listed as Mill Village Trailhead on the Augusta Canal.
