Logistics, awards and purpose
Entry fees vary by event, for example the 5K Run and 5K Wheelchair Division are listed at $30, the 5K Walk at $20, the Couch Crusader at $15, and the Kids' Fun Run is free. Prices increase after March 19, 2026. Some events have registration open or end dates in March and April 2026. Packet pickup is scheduled for the day before the race at Child Enrichment and on race morning at the trailhead.
Awards include prizes for the top three overall male and female finishers and age group awards for male and female finishers in standard age divisions from 15 & under up to 70 and above. All Kids' Fun Run participants receive a medal. Additional awards are listed for best costumes for kids, adults, and pets. Proceeds support Child Enrichment programs that provide free therapy and advocacy for children affected by abuse, neglect, or trafficking in the CSRA; the organization reports serving over 28,000 children since 1978 and 1,203 children in 2023–2024.
