The 80s Run
The 80s Run is an evening running event and festival in Louisville, CO, held on trails at the Louisville Community Park Amphitheater and the Trails of Coal Creek Path. The event includes multiple race distances on trail surfaces and a free outdoor concert after the running program.

The event emphasizes 1980s themes: participants are encouraged to wear period costumes and many runners historically dress in neon, leg warmers, or character outfits. Prizes are awarded for individual and group costume entries. Children’s races are not capped and concert admission for children under 17 is free; non-running adults are asked to pay a suggested fee for concert access.
Runners receive themed items at the finish, which may include a retro race bib that doubles as a drink ticket and voting token, gummi bracelets, glow sticks, a choice among apparel or hat items, and a finisher medal. A finish-area bar provides a complimentary drink for runners. Music for the evening is provided by a DJ and a live 1980s-style band on the stage near the finish.
