The 80s Run: Louisville Community Park
The 80s Run is a themed running event and post-run music event scheduled for June 13, 2026 at Louisville Community Park and Amphitheater. The course uses nearby trails south of the park and finishes behind the main stage, with runners routed toward the beer garden and food area. The venue can host over 2,000 attendees.
Race options include timed and untimed distances with chip timing used for the timed events. Included race items and features for participants are:
- 10k
- 5k
- Half marathon (13.1 miles)
- Kids .80 mile fun run
All finishers receive a finisher medallion. Runners may choose either a colorful trucker cap or themed running socks. Additional event items include a reusable plastic party cup and themed gummi friendship bracelets. The event offers an expo with vendors, a DJ playing 1980s music, a live concert by the FinaleEyes, dance and break-dance contests, and a family area with a jump castle. A bar area will offer beer and wine cooler options and one complimentary drink is included for runners aged 21 and over.
