Event details

The 10k Classic Trail Run is a 10K trail race in Albuquerque, New Mexico on March 15, 2026. The start and finish are at the Embudo Trailhead Parking Lot. Registration closes on Saturday, March 14. Proceeds benefit the Dukes Track Club, a 501(c)(3) organization, and the Dukes Track Club High School Senior Scholarship Fund. All participants who register will receive a T-shirt; sizes and availability are not guaranteed after August 10. All finishers will receive a unique award. Post-run refreshments are provided.

Packet pick up is scheduled at Heart and Sole Sports on Saturday, March 14 at 3601 Eubank Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87111.

Course

The 2026 course is run clockwise. The route starts on Embudo Trail 193 and heads east toward 365 Trail. Runners follow 365 Trail south for over 3 miles on single track that includes rocks, switchbacks, and climbs. The course then uses the Hillsdale Loop, Trail 401, and alternates between Trail 285 and Trail 401 before passing the start area and completing a final loop. The route crosses the Embudo Arroyo Valley and returns to Trail 193 for a downhill finish. Course features include single track, switchbacks and hairpin turns, technical uphill and downhill sections, cactus and exposed sheet rock, and the U-Mound section.
