Cedro Peak Trail Run
The Cedro Peak Trail Run offers two distances in the Cibola National Forest near Tijeras, New Mexico.

Both routes follow single track and jeep dirt trails through ponderosa pine and pinon forests, scrub oak, and meadow areas. The courses provide views of the Sandia and Manzano Mountains and include a mix of climbs, descents, and runnable flatter sections. Terrain varies from flowy single track to technical rocky sections.
Participation is limited to 300 entrants with a waitlist. Entry includes a race t-shirt, a finisher award for those who complete their race, professional photography, race timing, post-race refreshments, and well stocked aid stations supported by volunteers. Because of vendor production times, a shirt or preferred size cannot be guaranteed for registrations after April 1, 2026.
Race policies state no refunds or rollovers. Transfers to a different distance in the same event year or to another runner are allowed with approval from the race director. The race director may cancel the event due to adverse conditions such as National Forest closures or wildfire threat, and may modify the course to comply with National Forest Service guidelines.
Volunteers provide aid station support, parking coordination, awards, course sweeping, and event setup and breakdown. Volunteers receive food, event swag, and may be eligible for reduced or free entry to future events; they may also participate in a race while helping.
