Albuquerque Marathon - April 3, 2027
The Albuquerque Marathon event day offers multiple in-person and virtual race options held in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The event is based at Sagebrush Community Church, 6440 Coors Blvd. NW, with packet pickup available on March 27, 2027 and April 2, 2027 at local running stores.
Distances and event formats include:
- Marathon - 26.2 Miles
- Half Marathon - 13.1 Miles
- Half Marathon two person relay - 13.1 Miles total
- 10K - 6.21 Miles
- 5K - 3.12 Miles
- Kids K - 1K
- Virtual Marathon, Virtual Half Marathon, Virtual 10K and 5K
The course crosses the Rio Grande River, goes through the North Valley Bosque, and provides views of the Sandia Mountains. The course profile is described as flat and fast. Aid stations supply water and Powerade on the Marathon, Half Marathon, and 10K; the 5K has water stations. Gear check is available for the Marathon and Half Marathon near the start and finish areas.
All finishers receive a finisher medal. Tech shirts are provided for the Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K. Awards are given for overall and age group placements; the Kids K is non-timed and awards medals to participants.
