The Albuquerque Marathon and Albuquerque Half Marathon take place on Saturday, April 11, 2026, in Albuquerque, NM. The race day program includes multiple in-person and virtual distances:

The course is described as flat and fast. It crosses the Rio Grande River and runs through the North Valley Bosque with the Sandia Mountains visible from parts of the route. Finisher medals are provided, and tech shirts are offered for the Marathon, Half, 10K and 5K. Overall and age-group awards are issued; overall awards to top three men and women are determined by gun time. The Kids K is a non-timed event and awards a medal to all registered participants 11 and under.
Logistics and rules
The event start and finish location is Sagebrush Community Church, 6440 Coors Blvd. NW, Albuquerque, NM 87120. Packet pickup occurs on April 3 and April 10 at a local retail location. Race-day registration is available and timing uses an electronic chip attached to the bib; participants must wear the assigned timing device for official results. Cut-off times are in place - Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K and 5K courses close per published limits. Course rules restrict wheeled devices, certain electronic devices for prize competitors, and require compliance with event officials and safety protocols.
