Albuquerque Marathon & Albuquerque Half Marathon
The Albuquerque Marathon and Albuquerque Half Marathon take place Saturday, April 3, 2027, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The event center is Sagebrush Community Church, 6440 Coors Blvd. NW, Albuquerque, NM 87120.
Races offered include:
- Marathon
- Half Marathon with 2-person relay
- 10K
- 5K
- Kids K
The course crosses the Rio Grande River, goes through the North Valley Bosque, and features the Sandia Mountains as a backdrop. The route is described as flat and fast.
All finishers receive medals. Tech shirts are provided for the Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K, 5K and Kids K. Age group and overall awards are presented.
Packet pick-up is available on March 27 and April 2 at local running stores: Heart and Sole Sports (2817 San Mateo Blvd. NE) and Fleet Feet Sports - North Towne Plaza (5901 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Suite R).
The event partners with Heading Home. A portion of event proceeds, along with participant donations, will support Heading Home’s programs, which include emergency shelters, medical respite, supportive housing, street outreach, job-readiness assistance, and the SOAR program for SSI/SSDI applications. Participants may also make monetary donations to help purchase mattresses for newly housed individuals and families. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
