Albuquerque Marathon and associated events
The Albuquerque Marathon weekend takes place on April 11, 2026, at Sagebrush Community Church, 6440 Coors Blvd. NW, Albuquerque, NM. The event program includes in-person and virtual options and a range of race distances for adults and children.

- Marathon : 26.2 Miles
- Half Marathon : 13.1 Miles
- Half Marathon 2-person relay : 13.1 Miles
- 10K : 6.21 Miles
- 5K : 3.12 Miles
- 5K (17 and under) : 3.12 Miles
- Kids K : 1K
- Virtual Marathon, Half, 10K and 5K
The course crosses the Rio Grande, passes through the North Valley Bosque, and features the Sandia Mountains as a backdrop. The published course profile is flat and fast. All finishers receive a finisher medal; tech shirts are provided for Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K and 5K. Awards include overall and age group categories; kids K is a non-timed event and also receives medals.
The event is chip timed with electronic timing attached to the bib; bibs must be worn on the front and visible. Relay teams consist of two runners with approximate legs of ~6.37 and ~6.73 miles and use a belt exchange at a designated relay zone. Gear check is available near the start and finish. A virtual run window and packet mailing option are offered; mailed packets begin distribution on April 6. In the event of severe weather the race may be canceled and no refunds will be issued.
