Event Details
The Ellen Reavis Race for Autism is a multi day event scheduled from April 11 to 19, 2026. It takes place at Balloon Fiesta Park, located at 9401 Balloon Fiesta Parkway NE in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

- Star Walk: An event open only to autistic individuals. Participants walk a short aisle and receive a t-shirt with registration, guaranteed if completed by March 15, 2026.
- Virtual 5k Run/Walk: A remote participation option.
- 1 Mile Walk for Kids 4-17: An event for children aged 4 to 17.
- General Admission: A non-participant ticket.
Other event features include a team t shirt design contest, with a special prize for the winner, and prizes for the top fundraiser and largest team.
Event Background
The race honors Ellen Reavis, an occupational therapist and teacher who was a driving force in the autism community in New Mexico, serving on the New Mexico Autism Society’s Board of Directors. The event is organized by the New Mexico Autism Society as its largest annual fundraiser to support programs and events.
