Thanksgiving Stuffing Stomp 5k & 10k
The event offers scenic, flat road courses at Hains Point in Washington, DC, alongside the Potomac River. Distances offered:
- 5 km
- 10 km
Routes run on paved roads around Hains Point and are described as flat and fast. Water stations are placed along the courses: two stations on the 5 km course at approximately mile markers 1 and 2.1, and five stations on the 10 km course at approximately mile markers 1, 2.1, 3.1, 4.1 and 5.2; Gatorade is available at some stations and station locations are subject to change. Port-a-johns will be available near the start/finish area.
The event is chip timed and provides a finisher’s medal and a technical (Dri-Fit) event shirt. T-shirts are guaranteed for registrations received before November 4; additional shirts may be available afterward on a first-come, first-served basis. Packet pickup is available at the event and participants are advised to arrive about one hour before their scheduled start time to check in. There is no on-site race registration for this event.
Awards are given to the top three men and women overall and first and second place in standard age categories; overall top three finishers are not eligible for age-group awards. A virtual race option is available. Points from this race count toward the Year-Long 5k, 10k and Back of the Pack Series and toward the Fall Series.
