Rosaryville Veterans Day Trail Race
The Annapolis Striders present the 17th annual Rosaryville Veterans Day Trail Race at Rosaryville State Park in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. The event features wooded single-track trails and open meadows on a 9.5 mile perimeter trail that is mostly buffed out and not highly technical. Rolling hills are present; the 50K accumulates about 2600 feet of elevation gain. The course is marked with white pie plates and white confidence ribbons; other markers may appear and runners should follow the white markers only.
The field is limited to 250 participants. There are two aid stations on course and a designated drop bag area near the Start/Finish pavilion. Drop bags will be accessible at roughly the 5k, 20k, and 35k points. Race rules prohibit headphones, pets, and baby joggers, and parking is covered by registration. Time limits apply: 8 hours for the 50K and 7 hours for the 20K. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers and top male and female military for both distances.
