Rosaryville Veterans Day Trail Race
The Annapolis Striders present the 16th annual Rosaryville Veterans Day Trail Race in Rosaryville State Park, Upper Marlboro, Maryland on November 8, 2025. The event offers two distances:
- 50K, roughly 3.25 loops of the 9.5 mile perimeter trail
- 20K, roughly 1.25 loops of the 9.5 mile perimeter trail
Both courses start and finish at the Pavilion picnic area and run mainly through deep woods and meadows on buffed out single track that is not highly technical. The 50K accumulates about 2600 feet of elevation gain from rolling hills. The looped courses are marked with white pie plates and white confidence ribbons.
There are two aid stations on the trail and a designated drop bag area very close to the start and finish. Drop bags are accessible at about the 5k, 20k, and 35k points and the area is not covered. Race rules prohibit headphones, pets, and baby joggers. Parking is included in registration. The field is limited to 250 participants. Time limits are eight hours for the 50K and seven hours for the 20K. Awards recognize the top three male and female finishers and the top male and female military in each distance.
