Veterans receive free race entry, a finisher medal, and are eligible for awards; a form of veteran ID must be shown at registration or bib pickup. Active duty military can register at a reduced fee and must show military ID. Some veteran and active duty entries note that race shirts must be purchased separately if desired.
Awards are planned for top overall finishers and age-group placings. Categories listed include Top Three Male and Female Overall for each distance; Top Three Overall Masters, Grand Masters, and Senior Masters Male and Female; and the top three athletes in each traditional five-year age group beginning at 10 and under. A “Help then Run” 5K option invites participants to assist with check-in in exchange for a reduced race fee.
