Salute to Veterans 5K/10K/Half Marathon - Metro Washington DC
The Salute to Veterans 5K/10K/Half Marathon takes place on 11/15/2026 at Lake Accotink Park in Springfield, VA. The event features both in person and virtual options across multiple distances.
Available distances include:
- 5K in person and virtual
- 10K in person and virtual
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles) in person and virtual
The organizer lists specific registration fees by event. Designated Veteran entries are offered free for veterans. Active duty entries are offered at a reduced fee of $15. Some virtual and standard entries carry separate fees for each distance. A form of veteran or military ID is required at registration or bib pickup for eligibility where noted.
All participants receive a race shirt and a custom finisher medal upon crossing the finish line. Awards are planned for the Top Three Male and Female overall finishers in each distance, Top Three Overall Masters, Grand Masters and Senior Masters male and female finishers, and the top three athletes in the five year age groups starting at 10 & Under across all distances.
