Texans Against Child Trafficking 5K (T.A.C.T. 5K)
The Texans Against Child Trafficking 5K is a community 5K run and walk scheduled for January 23, 2027 at Trinity Park Duck Pond, 2200 Trinity Park Dr., Fort Worth, Texas. The event includes an in-person 5K Run/Walk and a virtual 5K option that participants can complete anywhere on a day and route of their choice.
Race day programming includes packet pick-up at the race site, a pre-race ceremony, warm-up sessions, a DJ, and cheer zones. All finishers receive a race t-shirt, a finisher medal, and additional race-day items. Post-run refreshments and snacks are provided after the event.
Event policies note that the course will close one hour after it begins. Strollers are allowed but must line up at the back of the starting area behind runners and walkers. Dogs are permitted. Packets may be collected by an authorized person with the registrant's permission. Registrations are final and refunds or transfers are not offered.
The event lists sponsorship and volunteer opportunities and includes a volunteer sign-up process. The 5K supports efforts against human trafficking and combines an in-person community event with a remote option for those who cannot attend on site.
