Azle Lake Run 2026
The Azle Lake Run is a community road race held in Azle, Texas, with start and finish at Ash Creek Park. The event includes multiple distances and follows a winding out-and-back route through the city along the western edge of Eagle Mountain Lake. Parking for the event is available at the park entrance.
The event features these distances:
- 10K (6.2 miles)
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- 1 Mile Color Run
Many participants walk segments or the entire course, and walking is permitted. Pets are allowed on the course when kept on a leash and current with vaccinations; water is provided for animals on the course. Age-category top finisher medals are awarded in the 5K and 10K races. A band from the local school program provides musical entertainment along the route. Free post-race snacks are provided in individually wrapped portions.
Registration opens January 1, 2026, and must be completed by Wednesday, October 28, 2026, to guarantee shirt availability. Packet pick-up is available at Anytime Fitness - Azle, 248 Park Street. The event is organized by the Azle Area Ministerial Alliance and raises funds that support local organizations in the Azle community.
