About the race
NFW Littles presents the first annual Hero Hustle, a community running event on November 7, 2026 in North Richland Hills, Texas. The event benefits NFW Littles Playgroup, a volunteer-run nonprofit that supports young children ages 0 to 4 and their caregivers in the North Fort Worth community. Proceeds support daily operations and programming for local families.
The event program includes multiple in-person and virtual race options and family activities. Race amenities listed by the organizer include a dynamic polytech race shirt, an interactive finisher medal, custom race bibs with chip timing for selected races, opportunity for overall and age group awards, and limited special event swag. The course features superhero-themed checkpoints, action zones, and family-friendly cheering stations. An interactive course map is provided by the organizer. Strollers are welcome.
Pre- and post-race offerings include DJ music, sponsor booths, a pre-race warm-up, a finisher tent with snacks and refreshments, and a Hero Training Zone for children with a bounce house, obstacle course, and crafts. The event also runs virtual 5K and 10K options and a Volunteer Then Run program that combines volunteer duties with a chance to run the 5K.
