Terrence Carraway Memorial 5K at Darlington Raceway
The Terrence Carraway Memorial 5K is held at Darlington Raceway on Saturday, September 5 as a remembrance event for a fallen Florence police officer. The event includes a timed 5K and a noncompetitive pace lap where participants may walk or run at their own pace. All proceeds will benefit the memorial foundation associated with the event.
Participants receive a t-shirt, a swag bag, and a participation medal. Registration fees vary by entry type and timing: 5K early bird registration is $25 and day-of registration is $35; pace lap early bird registration is $15 and day-of registration is $20.
Packet pickup takes place at the Darlington Raceway Ticket Office on Wednesday, September 2, Thursday, September 3, and Friday, September 4, each from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Race day pickup and bib registration are available the morning of the event, and a post-5K remainder packet pickup window is provided after the run.
Sponsorship opportunities are offered with levels ranging from $100 to $10,000. A course map and registration options are provided by the organizer.
