Suwanee Kiwanis - Shamrock 5k
The 15th Annual Suwanee Kiwanis Shamrock 5K is scheduled for March 20, 2027, in Suwanee Town Center Park near City Hall at 330 Town Center Avenue, Suwanee, GA 30024. The event includes both an in-person race and a virtual option.
Distances:
- 5K in-person course beginning in front of City Hall
- 3.1 Miles virtual option to be completed and reported by the virtual registration deadline
The event is organized to raise funds for the Don Lee Memorial Scholarships. The prior year’s event helped award scholarships to four local high school students.
Registration opens October 5, 2026. The standard registration fee is $35.00. In-person registration closes March 20, 2027, and virtual registration closes March 19, 2027. T-shirt cutoff is March 16, 2027 for guaranteed shirts. Early packet pickup is available at Big Peach Running Co. – Suwanee on the Friday before the race from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM. Virtual participants may run their 3.1 miles remotely and upload their time for results.
Awards include top overall places for male and female finishers, age-group medals for specified age ranges, and a prize for the most spirited St. Paddy’s runner. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
