Harvest Hustle 5k Run & 1k Fun Walk
The event takes place on September 19, 2026 at Ft Miles in Cape Henlopen State Park, Lewes, Delaware. It includes a timed 5k run and a non-competitive 1k walk, both starting and finishing at Ft Miles.

The course is described as flat and fast, running from Ft Miles toward Herring Point and Rehoboth Beach and returning to the start. The 1k walk turns around at the 0.31 mile mark.
The event is produced by Seashore Strider Event Production, Inc. and benefits the Village Volunteers. Timing is provided using the Chronotrack B Chip system. Finish-line production, custom t-shirts, custom awards, and post-race refreshments are listed among the race amenities. A post-race awards ceremony is scheduled within 20 minutes following the final finisher.
Awards are planned for the 5k run: overall male and female champions, overall male and female masters (40+), and the top three male and female finishers in age categories from 9 and under through 70+. There are no awards for the 1k walk.
