Harvest Hustle 5k Run & 1k "Fun" Walk - Lewes, DE
The event takes place on September 19, 2026 at Ft Miles in Cape Henlopen State Park, Lewes. This is the third annual Harvest Hustle presented by Seashore Strider Event Production, Inc. Proceeds benefit the Village Volunteers.
Distances offered:
- 5k Run - 3.11 miles, flat and fast course from Ft Miles toward Herring Point and back
- 1k "Fun" Walk - 0.62 miles, turnaround at the 0.31 mile mark
Chip timing will be used via the Chronotrack B Chip system. The finish line and post-race activities are produced by Seashore Strider Event Production, Inc. Race amenities include custom t-shirts, custom awards, a post-race awards presentation within 20 minutes following the final finisher, and post-race refreshments. Awards are given for Overall Male and Female, Overall Male and Female Masters 40 plus, and top three male and female finishers in age categories 9 and under, 10-13, 14-19, 20-29, then 10-year age groups through 70 plus. There are no awards for the 1k walk.
Registration tiers for the 5k are $25 pre registration through Sunday, September 13, $30 during race week through Friday, September 18, and $35 on race day on site. Registration tiers for the 1k are $20 pre registration, $25 during race week, and $30 on race day on site. Online registration and a mail in option are available; mailed registrations should arrive by Monday of race week to be guaranteed an event t shirt or swag.
