SUNSET 6K FOR ALL
Arboretum Hill Club, Bushtukah and Ottawa Free Fitness present a free sunset 6 km run or walk at the Dominion Arboretum hill summit in Ottawa. The event marks AHC's eighth season and is presented with support from Bushtukah and Marsquest. It is an in-person activity with an approximate duration of one hour and is designated as Day 7 of Jump In for Women's Heart Health.
The route starts and ends at the Dominion Arboretum hill summit and offers views of the Rideau Canal, Hog's Back Falls and the Rideau River. Post-run fuel and hydration are planned, with final details to be announced. Free parking is available on site and at nearby locations including the Experimental Farm and Fletcher Wildlife Garden.
Participation requires registration and acceptance of a waiver that acknowledges the inherent risks of outdoor physical activity and releases the organizers from certain liabilities. The event is presented as open to participants of all ages and fitness levels and welcomes run clubs and newcomers. The format is a casual group run or walk rather than a competitive race.
