Run For NCR / Run For Ottawa : event description

Run For NCR is held in support of Queensway Carleton Hospital. The event includes a family walk and a short run/walk option, and it features fundraising and donation opportunities for the hospital.

Organizers plan a brief opening session to introduce the run and acknowledge sponsors. Arrival and check-in take place at the pavilion located between Corkstown Road and Holly Acres Road at Andrew Haydon Park. Refreshments and a prize distribution follow the main activities.

Available participation formats allow groups or individuals to take part. The 5 km option includes support for participants, including first-time runners. Online registration is available and participants have a limited period to join and submit results. The in-person edition is scheduled for 5 September 2026.
