Event overview
The 2027 Summit Point 5k, 10k, and Half takes place at Summit Point Motorsports Park in Summit Point, West Virginia. The event includes multiple race distances and also offers a virtual race option for participants who cannot attend in person. Points earned at this event count toward the organizer's Year-Long 5k, 10k, Endurance, and Back of the Pack series, and they also count toward the Fall Series.

The courses are paved and run on the motorsports park circuit. Each route is an out-and-back and includes some small elevation changes. The event uses chip timing and provides a finisher's medal and a technical drifit event shirt to runners. Water and sports drink support is provided on course; stations are placed at approximate mile markers for each distance and some stations will include Gatorade.
Awards are given to the top three men and top three women overall, plus first and second place male and female in the listed age categories 19 and under, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 and over. Packet pickup is available at the venue and race day registration is offered with limited shirt size availability.
The race benefits the Mid Atlantic Great Dane Rescue League, a charity that rescues, medically treats, spays or neuters, socializes, and places Great Danes into new homes. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
